A Global City for All

Nusantara (IKN) is Indonesia's planned new capital, under construction in East Kalimantan. Legally, Jakarta remains the capital until the move is made official by presidential decree. According to the government's plan, construction is divided into several phases running until 2045. The first phase focuses on the Central Government Core Area (KIPP).

The construction of many projects can be followed via social media. Despite this, the total size of the construction of the capital is difficult to imagine. This is why the idea came to display all construction projects on a map. Via the map it is possible to easily see almost all planned locations. It is also very clear to see what a location is reserved for.

An independent project

Peta Nusantara is an independent project. It is not commissioned, funded or endorsed by the Indonesian government or the Nusantara Capital City Authority (OIKN). The ads on this site help cover the cost of building and running it.

Its purpose is to give practical information to people who live in, work in or visit the IKN area, such as locations, opening hours, public transport and construction status.

The information on this site is collected from official publications and news reports. Where possible, each page shows when it was last updated, and every photo is credited to its source.
