Areas
The future capital consists of multiple areas, each with its own theme and function. On the Construction Map, only the main administrative area is currently visible, but a total of nine areas have been included in the planning.

WP Central Government Core Area (KIPP)
The core zone of the national government, including the Presidential Palace, ministries, embassies, defense and security facilities, and housing for top officials.
WP Western IKN
An economic and business hub.
WP Southern IKN
Planned as a healthcare center, featuring medical service facilities and supporting infrastructure.
WP Eastern IKN I
Includes entertainment, sports, tourism.
WP Eastern IKN II
A hub for higher education, research and innovation, trade, offices, and healthcare.
WP Northern IKN
A zone focused on research and innovation, higher education and offices.
WP Simpang Samboja
A center for agricultural industry and logistics.
WP Kuala Samboja
Agricultural Center.
WP Muara Jawa
Public service center and activity center based on agriculture and fisheries.
Overview of all planning areas
The nine plan areas of Nusantara together form the planned capital area. Each area has a specific function, including governance, innovation, nature conservation, education and health care. The design of these areas is based on spatial and functional considerations, with a view to coherence and sustainable development.
