Nusantara Superblock is a mixed-use development area currently under construction in Nusantara (IKN), East Kalimantan. This project includes various facilities such as shopping centers, star hotels, apartments, office buildings, international schools, and entertainment centers. Built on an area of ​​7.5 hectares, Nusantara Superblock is designed with an environmentally friendly concept (green building) in accordance with the vision of IKN as a green and sustainable city.

Location and Land Area

Nusantara Superblock is located in the IKN Core Government Center Area (KIPP), precisely in Penajam Paser Utara, East Kalimantan. With a land area of ​​7.5 hectares, this area is designed to be a center for commercial and social activities that support the function of Indonesia's new capital city.

History and Development Process

Laying the First Stone

The construction of Nusantara Superblock officially began with the laying of the first stone (groundbreaking) by President Joko Widodo on December 20, 2023. This event marked the start of construction of the project which is expected to become one of the icons in IKN.

Developer and Investment

This project is developed by PT Wulandari Bangun Laksana Tbk (BSBK), a subsidiary of PAM Group, which is also known as the manager of Balikpapan Superblock. The investment disbursed for the development of Nusantara Superblock reached IDR 3 trillion.

Facilities and Development Plans

Nusantara Superblock is designed as a multi-purpose area with various facilities, including:

  • A 40,000 m² shopping center

  • A 5-star hotel with 215 rooms

  • A 4-star hotel with 200 rooms

  • Eight apartment towers

  • Two office towers

  • International school

  • Entertainment and recreation center

All of these facilities are designed with an environmentally friendly concept, supporting the vision of IKN as a green and sustainable city.

Current Status

As of May 2025, the development of Nusantara Superblock is still ongoing according to schedule. This project is expected to make a significant contribution to economic growth in East Kalimantan and provide jobs for the local community.
