The training center of the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) is located in Planning Sub-Area 1B, Central Government Core Area (KIPP) of the Nusantara Capital City (IKN), Penajam Paser Utara Regency, East Kalimantan. The facility is designed to serve as the national training hub for Indonesia’s national teams across all age groups.
Construction Phases
First Phase
Construction of the first phase began in November 2023 and was completed in mid-2024. Facilities built in this phase include:
Two football fields (one with natural grass and one with synthetic turf)
Two changing rooms
Two dormitory buildings with a total capacity of 138 for youth teams
Funding for this phase came from the FIFA Forward program, amounting to IDR 85.6 billion.
Second Phase
The second phase, which began in 2025, includes the construction of a mini stadium with a capacity of approximately 5,000 spectators. Funding for this phase comes from sponsors.
Contractor and Construction Technology
The project was carried out by PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk (ADHI) using modular construction technology. This approach enabled faster construction and cost efficiency.
Area and Facilities
The training center is built on a 34.52-hectare site. In addition to the football fields and dormitories, the facility is designed to support various aspects of football training, including rehabilitation rooms and additional training spaces.
