Bina Bangsa School Nusantara is an international educational institution currently being built in the Core Area of the Government Center (KIPP) of Nusantara (IKN), Penajam Paser Utara Regency, East Kalimantan. This school will implement the Cambridge curriculum and is designed as a smart school with modern facilities to support interactive and innovative learning.
Location and Land Area
This school is built on 1.8 hectares of land in the 1A KIPP IKN planning sub-area. The location is strategic, close to government facilities and settlements in the new capital city.
History and Development Process
Groundbreaking
The groundbreaking was carried out by President Joko Widodo on June 5, 2024. In his remarks, the President stated that the construction of this school was part of an effort to provide quality educational facilities in the IKN.
Construction Schedule
Construction of this school began in mid-2024 with a target completion within a time that has not been officially determined. The facilities built include educational levels from kindergarten to junior high school.

Curriculum and Learning Approach
Bina Bangsa School Nusantara will implement the Cambridge curriculum that focuses on developing creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking. The school will also integrate advanced technology into the learning process to create an interactive and innovative learning environment.

Investment and Developer
The development of Bina Bangsa School Nusantara is the result of an investment of IDR 150 billion by Bina Bangsa School, which has experience in organizing international education in Indonesia. The President Director of Bina Bangsa School, Surya Putra Subandi, is directly involved in the development of this project.
Current Status
As of May 2025, the development of Bina Bangsa School Nusantara is still ongoing according to the set schedule. The school is expected to start operating after the completion of construction and the fulfillment of operational standards set by the relevant authorities.
