Swissôtel Nusantara is the first five-star hotel to operate in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN), located on the East Axis Road (Jalan Sumbu Kebangsaan Sisi Timur). The hotel is owned by Agung Sedayu Group through its subsidiary PT Mandiri Andal Sejahtera (ASRI), and is managed by the international hotel chain Accor under the Swissôtel brand.

Construction and Inauguration

The construction of Swissôtel Nusantara began with a groundbreaking ceremony led by President Joko Widodo on September 21, 2023. The project was completed within nine months and officially inaugurated on September 13, 2024, in conjunction with Indonesia’s 79th Independence Day celebration.

Architecture and Design

The hotel adopts the "Forest City" concept, aligning with IKN's vision as a green and sustainable city. The architectural design combines natural elements with modern touches, using a natural color palette and eco-friendly materials to create a serene and harmonious atmosphere with the surrounding environment.

Facilities and Services

Swissôtel Nusantara spans nine floors with a total of 191 rooms, including Premier King, Premier Twin, Grand Room, Junior Suite, Executive Suite, and Presidential Suite. Additional facilities include:

  • NUSA Restaurant with an open kitchen concept and authentic Nusantara cuisine

  • Swimming pool

  • Fitness center (gym)

  • Pürovel Spa

  • Kids’ club

  • Meeting rooms with various capacities

Technology and Infrastructure

The hotel is equipped with modern infrastructure, including a 500 kV backup power supply from PLN and stable internet connectivity through collaboration with Telkom. Its strategic location near the Presidential Palace and IKN’s Kilometer Zero also makes it a preferred choice for VIP and VVIP guests.

Role in National Events

Swissôtel Nusantara served as the official accommodation for state guests during Indonesia’s Independence Day celebration on August 17, 2024. All rooms were reserved by the State Secretariat for the period of August 16–18, 2024.

Investment and Consortium

The construction of this hotel is part of a Rp5 trillion investment by the Nusantara Consortium, led by Agung Sedayu Group. Other members of the consortium include Salim Group, Sinar Mas, Adaro Group, Barito Pacific, Mulia Group, Astra Group, Kawan Lama Group, and Alfamart Group.
