Swiss-Belhotel Nusantara is a five-star hotel currently under construction in Nusantara (IKN), East Kalimantan. This project is part of the development of accommodation infrastructure in IKN which carries the concept of "forest city" and "green building". This hotel is designed to provide modern facilities that are in line with the principles of sustainability and environmentally friendly technology.

Location and Land Area

Swiss-Belhotel Nusantara is built on an area of ​​14,259 square meters in the IKN area. Its location is strategic, supporting the integration of housing, business, and public facilities, in accordance with the concept of a sustainable city carried by IKN.

Investment and Developer

Investment Value

The investment value for the development of Swiss-Belhotel Nusantara reaches IDR 300 billion. This investment includes the construction of a hotel with 197 rooms and various other supporting facilities.

Developer

This project is developed by PT Hotel Papua Internasional (HPI), in collaboration with the Swiss-Belhotel International network. The construction of this hotel is also supported by the Indonesian Capital City Authority (OIKN) and the government to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel when it is completed.

Construction Stages

Groundbreaking

The groundbreaking of Swiss-Belhotel Nusantara was carried out on August 12, 2024 by President Joko Widodo. This event marked the start of construction of the hotel in the IKN area.

Construction Status

The construction of this hotel is scheduled to be completed within 15 months from the laying of the first stone, with an operational target of the end of 2025.

Concept and Facilities

Architectural Concept

Swiss-Belhotel Nusantara carries the concept of "green building" which is in line with the vision of IKN as a "forest city". The design of this hotel has been curated by Ridwan Kamil and is designed to maximize the integration of green areas and use an optimal passive design approach.

Facilities

The hotel will provide 197 rooms, a restaurant, lounge and bar, a ballroom with a capacity of 1,000 people, sports and fitness facilities, a roof/sky lounge, adult and children's swimming pools, meeting rooms, a business center, a lobby, a lounge/waiting area, a green garden, and parking.
