Gunung Parung

West of Nusantara, Gunung Parung sits at the edge of a forest belt that runs from a production-forest concession all the way to the Meratus Mountains. It's one of the more species-rich sites in Nusantara's wildlife network on land: 259 recorded plant species, alongside 28 mammal, 108 bird, and 29 reptile/amphibian species.
