Teluk Balikpapan (Balikpapan Bay)

Balikpapan Bay stretches roughly 120 kilometers of shoreline, much of it lined with mangrove forest, and is one of the only places on Earth where you can realistically hope to see the Irrawaddy dolphin and the dugong in the same stretch of water. It sits just south of Nusantara's own territory, administratively part of Kota Balikpapan, and its mangrove forests are part of the same ecological network the capital's own master plan is designed to protect.
