The Community Health Center (Puskesmas) is an integral part of the basic infrastructure development plan in Nusantara (IKN), East Kalimantan. The construction of this Puskesmas aims to provide primary health services for State Civil Apparatus (ASN) and the general public who will settle in the area.

Location and Land Area

The Puskesmas is planned to be built in the IKN Government Center Core Area (KIPP), especially in the ASN residential area. This location was chosen to ensure accessibility of health services for residents of the area.

Development Status

Auction and Contract Process

The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) has auctioned the Puskesmas construction project together with the market and school projects in the IKN ASN residential area. The total value of this project reaches IDR 414.93 billion.

Construction Schedule

Based on available information, the contract signing process for this project is scheduled for July 12, 2024. Physical construction is expected to begin after the signing of the contract.

Design and Facilities

Although the architectural design details of the Puskesmas have not been widely published, the facility is planned to provide primary health services that include promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative services. The Puskesmas will be equipped with examination rooms, treatment rooms, medicine rooms, and other supporting facilities according to primary health service standards.

Contractors and Architects

Information regarding the implementing contractors and architects involved in the Puskesmas construction project in the IKN has not been officially announced. However, this project is under the coordination of the Ministry of PUPR and the East Kalimantan Regional Settlement Infrastructure Center (BPPW).

Integration with Other Health Services

The Puskesmas in the IKN is planned to be part of an integrated health service system, together with hospitals and other health facilities. This is in line with the government's efforts to provide comprehensive health services for the community in the IKN.
