Hermina Nusantara Hospital is a healthcare facility located in the Central Government Core Area (KIPP) of the Nusantara Capital City (IKN), specifically in Sepaku District, North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan. The hospital is the 50th branch of the Hermina Hospital network, operated by PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk (HEAL).
Construction and Inauguration
Construction of the hospital began with a groundbreaking ceremony led by President Joko Widodo on November 1, 2023. A soft opening was held on August 17, 2024, in conjunction with the 79th anniversary of Indonesian Independence. The official grand opening took place on October 11, 2024, and was attended by President Joko Widodo and other officials.
Design and Infrastructure
The hospital is built on a land area of 20,718 square meters, with a total building area of 28,000 square meters. It is an eight-story building designed with a modern and elegant concept, incorporating eco-green and smart hospital principles. The facility aims for both national and international accreditation and is equipped with the latest technology to support efficient and environmentally friendly healthcare services.
Facilities and Services
In its initial phase, the hospital has a capacity of 50 inpatient beds, with plans to expand to 100 beds by 2025. Available services include outpatient and inpatient care, emergency services (ER), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), as well as flagship services such as traumatology, orthopedics, maternal and child health, perinatology, child development, and neurology. The hospital also collaborates with BPJS Health to provide accessible healthcare services to the general public.
Investment and Commitment
The total investment for the development of Hermina Nusantara Hospital amounts to IDR 650 billion. As of now, around IDR 500 billion has been spent for the first phase. PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk is one of the first private investors to commit to building a healthcare facility in the new capital, supporting the development of public infrastructure and services.
Support and Collaboration
Hermina Nusantara Hospital is supported operationally and in human resources by other Hermina hospitals in East Kalimantan, such as Hermina Balikpapan and Hermina Samarinda. Additionally, the hospital collaborates with the Indonesian Ministry of Health to ensure high and sustainable service standards.
