The MBR (Low-Income Community) Housing Block is a vertical housing development intended for low-income communities, including residents affected by relocation due to construction in the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) area. This development aims to provide decent, affordable housing integrated with supporting facilities for these communities.
The housing complex is located in Sepaku Sub-district, Penajam Paser Utara Regency, East Kalimantan, which falls within the IKN development area. The planned building comprises a single four-storey block of flats. Each unit is a Type 36 flat, with a total of 65 residential units capable of accommodating around 260 people, assuming four occupants per unit.
In addition to the residential units, this housing complex is also equipped with various communal facilities to support the daily needs of residents, such as a community hall, a management office, public toilets, a prayer room, commercial spaces, a car park, as well as green open spaces and other supporting facilities.
