As Nusantara develops into Indonesia’s new capital, establishing robust healthcare infrastructure has been a priority. With both public and private partnerships, the city now features several modern hospitals, operational or under construction, designed to serve residents, civil servants, and visitors alike.
Rumah Sakit Hermina Nusantara
Operational since October 2024, Hermina Nusantara was inaugurated by President Joko Widodo on October 11, 2024. The hospital initially opened three floors for outpatient, inpatient, and emergency services, with plans to expand to eight floors and 100 beds. Equipped for general care, ICU, trauma, maternal and child health, oncology, and neurology, it is the 50th facility in the Hermina network. It combines eco-friendly design, smart hospital systems, and inclusion of BPJS services.
Mayapada Hospital Nusantara
Mayapada Hospital Nusantara, officially inaugurated on October 11, 2024, is the first international standard hospital in IKN. The facility emphasizes energy efficiency, green architecture, reclaimed water systems, and non-toxic materials. It began offering 24-hour trauma emergency services in August 2024 and includes centers for cardiology, neurology, oncology, and more.
Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat Kementerian Kesehatan
The government’s Ministry of Health Hospital, a vertical public hospital, began construction in December 2023. It includes a 10-story building planned for 250 beds, ICUs, cardiac catheter labs, stroke care, neonatal and pediatric intensive units, and telemedicine facilities.
Rumah Sakit Abdi Waluyo Nusantara
Ground was broken on September 22, 2023, for Abdi Waluyo Nusantara, a private subspecialty hospital focusing on sports medicine, orthopedics, cardiology, neurology, vascular health, and medical rehabilitation. This hospital will feature 400 rooms and aim to support athletes from the nearby PSSI training center. As of June 2025, construction is 75.6 % complete, moving closer to full operation by late 2025
